Genuine factory built Triumph TR8 Convertible manufactured in May 1980 and despatched to Newark, USA for its 1st owner, bought back into UK in 1991 and registered here then, has had 4 owners since and has been stored since around 2007 awaiting restoration.
The car has rot to the headlamp panel (a good used one is with the car) and both doors are pretty bad too (I do also have other good used doors available if required at extra cost).
The floors have one small hole and flitches/turrets are very good as is the rest of the structure, apart from the noted panels it really is a good rot free car and an excellent project.
It has all of the correct original parts on it, including factory air conditioning, power assisted steering, correct TR8 brakes, correct emissions equipment including the original TR8 air boxes and associated parts with the Stromberg carb set up.
The car is matching numbers from factory, correct engine fitted etc.
The only non-original TR8 part is the tubular stainless exhaust manifolds and stainless exhaust system, but I do have a pair of original cast exhaust manifolds from a TR8 if you would like to convert back to original.
The car has 1/2" history file detailing some work in USA, Spain and UK.
A really worthwhile project of a very rare car.
